It Never Ends

It Never Ends Words & Music By: Rick Denzien on the road - i've never gone this far - another sign for my consideration miles and miles they drag on - just reward for my determination oh - i go where the road goes -- and it never ends i go where the road goes -- it rises and descends headlights are so bright -- driving all through the night rocking to the motion of the pavement on the wheels exit 21 on the interstate - so tired i see my eyes roll pull it over to a road side rest - i got to stop or i may loose control oh - i go where the road goes -- and it never ends i go where the road goes -- it rises and descends headlights are so bright -- driving all through the night rocking to the motion of the pavement on the wheels though at time i may feel lonely - and accommodations are not the best but when i determine to see you - you always give me rest of all the things i could have done - it's strange this is my profession could have been a doctor or a fireman - or a priest with a confession. yeah i don't know my full destiny - but i know there is a purpose yeah god i know you got a plan - if i could only touch the surface oh - i go where the road goes -- and it never ends i go where the road goes -- it rises and descends headlights are so bright -- driving all through the night rocking to the motion of the pavement on the wheels © MCMXCIV to date Slot One Entertainment, Inc – (ASCAP) all rights reserved.
